DUFF MCKAGAN Interviewed By DANKO JONES (Audio)

March 26, 2013

The latest podcast from Canadian rocker Danko Jones features an interview with Duff McKagan (DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED, GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER). Check it out using the SoundCloud widget below.

In the latest installment of his column, which appears on Reverb at SeattleWeekly.com, Duff stated about DANKO JONES: "I got to spend a couple of weeks in February touring Australia with DANKO JONES. They are one of those bands that peeked into my rock consciousness at just the right time. They are the real deal, and are as honest and as no-nonsense as anything I've seen since the REFUSED concert [in Seattle] last fall.

"DANKO JONES is actually the singer/guitarist's name, but the band plays as such a seething and tight three-piece unit that in the throes of a gig, the beauty of not just watching or focusing on one guy is only realized after the show. It is rad."

During this year's installment of Australia's Soundwave festival, Danko Jones played two side shows with DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED.

Fan-filmed votage of Danko performing the GUNS N' ROSES classic "You're Crazy" with DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED on February 25 at The Manning Bar in Sydney can be seen below.
